Bhubaneswar, May 5:
A confident Indian team comfortably won the second match of the four-test series against Japan as they defeated the visitors by 2-0 goals at Kalinga Stadium in the Odisha capital this afternoon.
After a barren first quarter, Sannuvanda Uthappa drew first blood in the 29th minute after receiving a reverse flick pass from his team-mate Yuvraj Valmiki.
The hosts scored the second goal in the 48th minute after Dharmvir Singh pushed a rebound shot of Sunil which was deflected by the Japanese goalkeeper.
Both the teams earned a few penalty corners but could not convert them.
The first match played on Sunday had ended in a 1-1 draw.
