Man detained for raping his minor niece in Odisha

Cuttack, May 18:

A person has been detained at Tigiria police station in Cuttack district of Odisha for allegedly raping his 9-year-old niece last night.

According to police, a person, identified as Ramesh Nayak, was staying at Baulanga village as a househusband.

His in-laws have filed a complaint with police that he raped his minor niece last night.

We are questioning the accused after detaining him at police station, said a police official.
