Rourkela: Howrah-Ahmedabad Superfast Express was today halted at Rourkela station for more then two hours due to technical glitch.

The train reached the railway station at 6.30 am, following which a glitch was detected near wheels of S-4 compartment. Around 10-12 mechanics from Rourkela and Bandhamunda reached the spot and carried our repairing, which took 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Later, the train resumed its journey and departed from the station around 8.50 am. Detection of the glitch averted a major mishap, sources said.
