The Bargarh Excise officials have seized a huge cache of ganja and arrested a person in this connection.

The arrested was identified as Jagannath Patel hailing from Birjupali village under Ambabhona police limits.
According to sources, around 29 kgs of ganja was seized from his possession when the contraband was being transported to neighbouring Chhattisgarh.
The market value of the seized ganja is estimated to be Rs 1,75,000. The Excise Department has started investigation into the incident after registering a case.
