Huge quantity of Ganja seized in Odisha, four arrested

Phulbani, May 1:

Excise department sleuths during raids in two different places in Odisha’s Kandhamal district have arrested four persons and seized 60 kg of ganja and 19 lt of hooch during the raids today.

According to reports, acting on a tip-off Excise officials conducted raids in Dari village under Phiringia police limits and Kabuna village under Khajuripada police limits.

Excise officials have arrested Dandua Digal and Mikali Digal on charges of ganja smuggling and have seized 44 kg and 16kg of contraband from them respectively.

On the other hand, the officials have arrested Prasant Kanhar and Niranjan Sethi from Kabuna village on charges of hooch smuggling and have seized 10 lt of the contraband from each of them.
