Hundreds of jellyfishes found at Chilika sea mouth in Odisha

Brahmagiri: A large number of jellyfishes were found at Chilika sea mouth triggering scare among the tourists and fishermen here.

Hundreds of jellyfishes were spotted by the fishermen at sea shore near Nanganashi Mouth of Chilika on Sunday morning.

The number of the sea fishes increased during the daytime at the sea mouth.

The tourists visiting the spot complained of itching on the body and palm while holding those out of curiosity.

More than a week ago, hundreds of poisonous jellyfishes known as ‘Blue Button Jellyfish’ or ‘Porpita porpita’ were found dead at sea beach in Puri.
