Hurry up! Indian Railways announces 9,500 vacancies, attractive salary

Bhubaneswar/New Delhi:  The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited online applications to recruit 9,500 Railway Protection Force (RPF) which includes Sub-Inspector (SI) and Constables.

The RRB has released a notification in this regard. The online application will begin from 10 am, June 1, 2018.  Candidates who want to apply for RPF Sub-Inspector (SI) and Constables must apply on or before 30 June, 2018. For details, candidates must visit official websites: indianrailways.gov.in or rrbonlinereg.in.

The announcement of the 9,500  RPF  personnel recruitment was done by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal in March.  He also said that 50 percent or 4517 posts of these vacancies are reserved for women. Candidates have to apply for the posts before June 30, 2018.

Vacancy Details:
Total Posts – 9,500 (50% reserved for female candidates)

Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be eligible to receive a monthly pay of Rs 5,200-20,200/- along with Grade Pay of Rs2,000/-

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must be 10th passed from a recognized education board.

Age Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 25 Years.

Selection Process:
The selection process will comprise of three stages viz:
Phase I – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Phase II – Written Examination
Phase III – Viva Voce and Document Verification

For General/OBC Candidates: Rs 40/-
For SC/ST/Female/PwD candidates: Nil.
