Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government has appointed IAS Officer Aravind Agrawal to take additional responsibility as the Secretary to Governor Raghubar Das.

As per the office order issued by General Administration & Public Grievance Department, the 2007-batch IAS Officer Aravind Agrawal, who is currently serving as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of Higher Education Department with additional charge of Special Secretary of Sports & Youth Services Department, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Odisha Governor till return of IAS Officer Saswata Mishra from his Mid-Career Training Programme (MCTP) phase-v.

Besides, the state government had given an additional charge to IAS Officer Chithra Arumugam as the Additional Charge of Principal Secretary of Labour & ESI Department. The 1995-batch IAS is presently posted as the Special Secretary of the Planning & Convergence Department with an additional charge of the Principal Secretary of the Science & Technology Department.
