IAS reshuffle in Odisha: CEO Sushil Lohani gets additional charge of Panchayatiraj

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Government effected a reshuffle of IAS officers by giving additional charges to three senior bureaucrats including Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sushil Kumar Lohani.

As per a notification dated yesterday, the 1995-batch IAS officer Sushil Kumar Lohani is allowed to remain in additional charge as the Principal Secretary of Panchayatiraj & Drinking Water Department.

Similarly, Deoranjan Kumar Singh (RR-1993), the Principal Secretary of Steel & Mines Department with additional charge of Chairman of Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd, Chairman of Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd and Chairman of IDCOL, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Principal Secretary of Excise Department.

The additional appointment of Sushil Kumar Lohani as Principal Secretary to Government in Excise Department shall stand terminated from the date Deoranjan Kumar Singh takes over, the notification stated.

Moreover, Sanjay Kumar Singh (RR-1997), the Principal Secretary of Rural Development Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary of Information & Public Relation Department, Vice-Chairman of Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) and Managing Director of Bhubaneswar Smart City Ltd, is allowed to remain in additional charge of Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST, Odisha.

The additional appointment of Sushil Kumar Lohani as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST shall stand terminated from the date Sanjay Kumar Singh takes over.
