Bhubaneswar: The state government today effected a major reshuffle in the IAS cadre in Odisha by transferring four senior officers.
G. Mathivathanan, a 1994-batch IAS officer, has been transferred and posted as the Director General, Training Coordination, at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar.
Mathivathanan was earlier serving as Additional Chief Secretary to Housing and Urban Development in the state.
Vishal Kumar Dev, a 1996-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to Electronics and Information Technology Department. He will hold the additional charge of Chairman, OFDC, said a notification issued by the General Administration department today.
Dev was earlier serving as the Principal Secretary to Finance Department.
R. Vineel Krishna, a 2005-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement, in Odisha.
Vineel Krishna was earlier working as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, a 1999-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Sports and Youth Services Department in Odisha, said the notification.
Sarma was earlier serving as the Commissioner, Land Records and Settlement, in the state.
Nikunja Bihari Dhal, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been given the additional charge of Chairman, IDCO, said the notification.
Surendra Kumar, the Additional Chief Secretary to General Administration department, has been given the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Parliamentary Affairs department.
Hemant Sharma, the Principal Secretary to Industries department, has been given the additional responsibility of Principal Secretary to MS&ME department.
Saswat Mishra, the Principal Secretary to Odisha Governor, has been given the additional responsibilities of Principal Secretary to Finance Department and Principal Secretary to Energy department.
Usha Padhee, the Principal Secretary to SD & TE department, has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary to Housing and Urban Development department, said the notification.
