The Golden Peacock Awards receive over 1,000 applications each year for various award categories. The applications are assessed independently at three levels and then finally by a grand jury. This year, the Secretariat received over 315 responses, in four categories. Out of which, after careful scrutiny, 164 applications were shortlisted for final selection.
An Assessment Group comprising of Business Excellence, Quality Management and Learning & Development experts was set up to assess the applications. Each of the application was reviewed by assessors independently, and was later discussed by the committee for normalization of assessments/reviews.
