Bhubaneswar: Due to the prevalent monsoon trough, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha during next 24 hours. India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre today forecasted a fresh spell of rain from August 31.

In its mid-day bulletin, IMD regional centre said, “Southwest Monsoon has been subdued in Odisha. The monsoon trough at mean sea level continues to run along the foothills of the Himalayas.”

Highest maximum temperature of 35.7oC was recorded at Chandbali. The lowest minimum temperature of 23.5oC was recorded at Bhawanipatna, Phulbani and Nabarangpur in the plains of Odisha.
