Bhubaneswar: The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall and thundershower in some districts of Odisha till July 13.
Light to moderate rain/thundershower has occurred at many places over the districts of North Interior Odisha, at a few places over the districts of South Interior Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Coastal Odisha during the last 24 hours, said the IMD in its weather bulletin today.
July 10:Â As per the prediction, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bargarh and Deogarh in Odisha on July 10.
Similarly, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Khurda, Nayagarh and at a few places over the remaining districts of Odisha on the day, said the IMD in its weather bulletin.
July 11: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Kandhamal on July 11, said the IMD forecast. Besides, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Odisha and at a few places over the districts of South Odisha on the day.
July 12: One or two places over the districts of Koraput, Nawarangapur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Jajpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal and Rayagada are likely to witness heavy rainfall on July 12. Similarly, many places over the districts of Odisha may witness moderate rain or thundershower on the day.
July 13: Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Kalahandi, Nabarangapur, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam on July 13. Besides, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal and at many places over the remaining districts of Odisha on the day, said the IMD.
