Bhubaneswar: With South West Monsoon remaining active in Odisha, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here forecasted today that heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over 12 districts of Odisha on July 7 (Sunday) i.e. Ratha Jatra day.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD said, “Cyclonic circulation over east-central Bay of Bengal (BoB) now lies over west-central BoB off south Andhra Pradesh coast between 5.8 & 7.6 Km above mean sea level.”

The highest maximum (day) temperature of 37.0°C was recorded yesterday at Nuapada and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 21.0°C was recorded at Angul in the plains of Odisha.
