IMD predicts light rain in these Odisha districts on February 6 & 7; check details

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of Odisha on February 6 & 7, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its evening bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed marked fall at one or two places over the districts of North Interior Odisha, appreciable fall at many places over the districts of North Interior Odisha, appreciable rise at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature forecast: No large change in the minimum (night) temperature during next 4 to 5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 32.6°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 12.1°C was recorded at Sundargarh in the plains of Odisha.

For February 6 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 06.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 07.02.2024)

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.

For February 7 (Valid from 0830 hrs IST of 07.02.2024 to 0830 hrs IST of 08.02.2024)

Light rain is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal and dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha.
