IMD predicts rainfall activities in Odisha districts during next 6 days; check details

Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, rainfall activities are very likely in several districts of Odisha between 0830 hrs IST of February 22 and 0830 hrs IST of February 28, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD said, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha, appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, at most places over the districts of Coastal Odisha, below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”

Temperature forecast: No major change is likely in minimum (night) temperature at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 4 to 5 days. Hot weather conditions are likely to prevail in some parts of coastal Odisha till tomorrow.

The highest maximum temperature of 37.0°C was recorded at Bhubaneswar and the lowest minimum temperature of 15.0°C was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
