Bhubaneswar: Due to prevalent monsoon trough and cyclonic circulation, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places in ten Odisha districts during the next 24 hours. India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued Yellow Warning in some districts for next 3 days.

In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre said, “The cyclonic circulation over south Bihar and neighbourhood now lies over north Bangladesh at 0.9 Km above mean sea level with a trough roughly along Latitude 90°E to the north of 25°N between 1.5 Km and 2.1 Km above mean sea level.”

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Dhenkanal, Jharsuguda and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha.

The highest maximum (day) temperature of 35.0oC was recorded at Bhadrak and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 22.6oC was recorded at Nabarangpur in the plains of Odisha.
