In Pics: 4 friends die as car falls off bridge in Odisha's Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: Returning home after having dinner at a dhaba turned fatal for a group of friends as the car in which they were travelling fell off a bridge over Hati river in Odisha's Kalahandi district last night killing four of them and critically injuring the driver.

The deceased were identified as Ganesh Mahalik, Bablu Mahalik, Arun Sahu, Rabi Pradhan and Abhiram Bag.

The mishap took place when Abhiram, who was driving the vehicle, lost control over the wheels at the approach road of the bridge following which it rammed into a tree and fell off the bridge.

While Ganesh, Bablu, Arun and Rabi died on the spot, Abhiram sustained grievous injuries and has been admitted to the district headquarters hospital.
