[In Pics] A glimpse of chariot making in Puri on occasion of Bhaunri Jatra

Puri: Even though uncertainty prevails over the holding of the world famous Ratha Jatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri due to the COVID-19 pandemic, over 200 servitors are engaged in the construction of chariots on war-footing.

As per the tradition , the ‘Chaka Dera Anukula’ ritual was held at the Ratha Khala on the occasion of Bhaunri festival today following arrival of Agyan Malas (garlands of consent from Lord Jagannath and His divine siblings) from Srimandir.
