Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the resumption of flight services at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar from May 25, a trial run with participation of all stakeholders was held at the airport today to ensure a touch-free and safe passage of air travel for passengers.
Airport sources said an inspection and a trial run with the participation of all stakeholders at the airport went off successfully.
From entry point to exit and other places of the airport were provided with distinct physical markings. This apart, transparent glasses and camera capturing arrangement have been made at certain places.
Sanitisers and wash basins were placed at different places for maintaining hygienic. This apart, surfaces, trolleys, trays, X-ray machines and counters were sanitized frequently. Visual displays and physical standees were provided for information/guidelines to passengers.
This apart, passengers reaching the airport were asked to download and register Aarogya Seth App to confirm his/her health status or confirm via self declaration form.
Tomorrow the below scheduled flights are supposed to operate. However, two to three flights may be cancelled due to some issues at Kolkata, Mumbai and other places.
