Incensed locals vandalise Mo Bus after it leaves man critically injured in Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: A man was hit by Mo Bus at Sikharchandi Vihar in Patia locality under Infocity police limits of Bhubaneswar this evening. Hundreds of irate locals vandalised the bus following the incident alleging that the driver of the four-wheeler was in an inebriated condition while driving.

The injured was rescued by some locals and was rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.

According to a source, the driver of the bus (bearing registration number OD-33 AH-0162) was drunk when the vehicle met with an accident. He was carelessly driving the bus, some eyewitnesses alleged.

On being informed, Infocity police reached the spot and brought the law and order situation under control. Tension was prevalent in the nearby areas till the time when this report was filed.
