Incessant rain lashes Odisha’s Balasore, water enters into dist hosp

Balasore: The incessant rain left most parts of Balasore town waterlogged disrupting normal life this afternoon.

The patients suffered after the rainwater entered into surgery and diarrhea wards of the district headquarters hospital in Balasore.

The commuters in the coastal town were stranded on roads due to waterlogging in several localities caused by incessant rain for two hours.

The situation reminds of scene in Bhubaneswar two weeks ago when the denizens experienced flood like situation and severe waterlogging due to poor drainage system in India’s No. 1 smart city.
