Bhubaneswar: A Bhubaneswar-bound flight from New Delhi was diverted to Kolkata today due to bad weather in the city.
Vistara UK 785 Delhi-Bhubaneswar flight, which left Delhi at 7 am and scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar at 9.05 am, was diverted to Kolkata due to bad weather (heavy rain) here, the airline sources said.

Notably, nor’wester rain accompanied with thunder and stormy weather lashed Bhubaneswar today.
Many passengers experienced inconvenience at Bhubaneswar Railway Station due to water-logging at the station owing to roof leakage. Many of them remained stranded at the spot.
The capital city also witnessed water-logging in low-lying areas like Acharya Vihar, Jayadev Vihar and Nayapalli. Similar situation was also spotted at Baramunda bus stand.
