India bowled out for 457, England 43/1

England trailed India by 414 runs after the second day’s play in the first Test being held at Trent Bridge here Thursday.cricket

After bowling out India for 457 runs, the hosts were batting on 43/1 at stumps.

India were bowled out for 457 in their first innings in the third and last session of Day 2 in the first Test against England at Trent Bridge here Thursday.

The last wicket to fall was Bhuvneshwar Kumar (58), who was caught by Joe Root off the bowling of Moeen Ali.

Mohammed Shami remained unbeaten on 51.

Pacer James Anderson clinched three wickets while Stuart Broad and Ben Stokes took two each.

India were 433/9 at tea .

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami were batting on 46 and 39, respectively, when tea was called.

Earlier in the session, India lost four wickets.
