India’s industrial output drops by 2.1 %

New Delhi, Jan 10 :

India’s industrial output dropped by 2.1 percent in November due to a sharp contraction in manufacturing production, government data showed Friday.

Manufacturing production slumped by 3.5 percent during the month under review, while mining grew at a sluggish 1 percent and electricity output increased by 6.3 percent.
