Indigo launches direct flight to Chennai from Odisha capital

Indigo Airlines Wednesday launched the much-awaited daily direct flight service to Chennai from Odisha capital.

Indigo Airlines flight no. IGO-756 on Wednesday which landed at 2.10 PM here took off for Chennai at 2.50 PM.

With the launch, Bhubaneswar has direct flight services to eight destinations.

Prior to the launching, Bhubaneswar had direct flights to New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vizag and Varanasi.

A total of 28 flights by carriers Air India, Indigo Airlines, Go Air and Vistara operate from Bhubaneswar.
