Inebriated man kills wife by slitting throat in Odisha’s Koraput

Koraput: In a shocking incident, a man being in an inebriated state allegedly murdered his wife by slitting her throat at Dhaudapadar village under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Koraput district late last night.

The deceased has been identified as Parvati Kamar (24). Police have arrested accused Kartik Takrari (28).

According to reports, Kartik came home last night after consuming liquor and had a quarrel with his wife. The incident turned ugly as he lost his cool and slitted her throat with a sharp weapon.

Police have recovered the body for post-mortem while further investigation was underway.
