In a tragic incident, a five-month-old infant girl died at the venue of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s meeting in Bargarh today.

Reports said the infant who had accompanied her mother Sabita Bag to the meeting venue suddenly fell unconscious allegedly after being unable to bear the noise and dust on arrival of Patnaik’s chopper.

The infant was immediately rushed to a medical van at the venue and later shifted to the district headquarters hospital. Doctors at the hospital said that the infant had died due to heart stroke.

However, the exact cause of her death would be known on the availability of the post-mortem report.
