Intense rainfall alert for Bhubaneswar, Cuttack city today

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rainfall is likely to lash Odisha’s Twin City Bhubaneswar and Cuttack under influence of low marked low pressure over the Bay of Bengal off Odisha and adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coasts.

According to Bhubaneswar MeT, a few spells of rain/thundershower is very likely to occur over Bhubaneswar and Cuttack city area today.

Such weather condition may continue over the area till 12.45 am.

The heavy rainfall may cause temporary waterlogging in low lying areas, underpass roads, reduction of visibility and traffic congestion, the MeT warned.
