Intense rainfall likely to lash 18 Odisha districts this evening

Bhubaneswar: As many as 18 districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall this evening, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

“Moderate thundershower and lightning with one or two spells of intense rainfall likely to continue at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Bargarh, Mayurbhanj, Balangir, Kandhamal, Koraput, Rayagada, Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur and Dhenkanal,” a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.

Such weather conditions are likely to prevail in these areas between 6 pm and 9 pm.
