Intense rainfall likely to lash 22 Odisha dists tonight

Bhubaneswar: As many 22 districts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rainfall tonight, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

The districts likely to be affected are Balasore, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Deogarh and Jharsuguda.

Moderate thundershower and lightning with a few spells of intense rainfall likely to continue at a few places over these districts between 8.30 pm and 11.30 pm, a bulletin of the Meteorological Centre said.
