Inter-District Women’s Cricket: KIIT thrash Sambalpur

The KIIT women’s team beat Sambalpur by 138 runs on the first day of the Inter-District Women’s Cricket Tournament 2013-14 at the Ravenshaw Ground here today.

Winning the toss, KIIT scored 176 for 7 in the allotted 35 overs with Rani Tudu scoring the highest 47 runs.

In reply, the Sambalpur eves were bundled out for just 58 with Sneha Chakraborty scoring the half the total runs.

For KIIT, Kuni Badara was the pick of the bowlers claiming 4 wickets while conceding only five runs.
