Bhubaneswar: Busting an inter-state drug smuggling racket, the Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch arrested three persons after seizing 130 grams brown sugar from them here today.

The cops also seized a pistol, two lives bullets and a vehicle their possession.

The three arrested are SK Azbahar (36) of Jaleswar in Balasore district, SK Azad (43) alias Nalu, who is a native of Nedinapur in West Bengal and staying in Muslim Sahi in Jharpada area here, and Ramakant Sahoo (27) alias Tulu of Birapratappur in Puri district.

Sources said the smugglers used to supply the narcotic items to several places in Odisha and other states.
