Intra-state bike lifting gang busted in Odisha

Twin City Commissionerate Police today busted a bike lifting racket in Odisha’s Cuttack with the recovery of over 40 motorcycles here.

Badambadi police today arrested three persons including a customer who used to buy theft vehicles from the duo. They are identified as Ramakant Mandal alias Jitu from Jagatsinghpur, Rakesh Mohapatra alias Raju from Mahanga and Satyabrata Sahu alias Dipu Jagatsinghpur who was buying vehicles from them.

While police recovered over 40 vehicles from their possession, three more accomplices of the duo are still at large.

The members of the gang were active in Cuttack, Jajpur, Kendrapada and Bhubaneswar.
