IOCL’s refinery plant in Odisha to remain shut for 3 weeks

Paradip: The refinery plant of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Paradip will be closed for 22 days to carry out maintenance work, informed Jagatsinghpur Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra today.

The refinery unit will remain shut from July 25 to August 15.

During 3-week shutdown, section-144 will remain in force around the plant to prevent congregation, the Collector said.

The decision has been taken by both district administration and IOCL authorities to carryout maintenance work of the refinery unit.

Worth mentioning, the maintenance work of the refinery has not been carried out since the year 2018.
