IT return: Odisha pensioners to get Form-16 online

Bhubaneswar: To bring service delivery closer to the doorstep of pensioners under the policy initiative of 5T and Mo Sarkar especially during the challenging times of Covid-19 pandemic, the Odisha Government today introduced a facility for pensioners/family pensioners through which they can download Form-16 (INCOME TAX) from IFMS portal for the tax deducted by the treasury from their pension.

This will help the pensioners/family pensioners to file their Income Tax return without physically visiting the treasuries for collection of Form-16.

This will be applicable for all pensioners/family pensioners of State Government and Aided Educational Institutions drawing pension from treasuries in Odisha.

In case the pensioners/family pensioners face any difficulty in downloading Form-16 from IFMS portal, they may contact the respective Treasury Officer over telephone/e-mail to get the Form-16 or mail to the Directorate of Treasuries ([email protected]).
