ITBP Jawan loses 3-YO son in road mishap in Odisha

Nuapada: In an unfortunate incident, an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Jawan lost his three-year-old son after a vehicle hit the toddler when the family was out on a morning walk in Nuapada district today.

As per reports,  the ITBP Jawan, Satyabrata Sabar, had come to his house at Dharambandha in the district for a vacation. Early this morning, Satyabrata along with his wife and two children went out for a morning walk.  The couple later asked the two kids to sit on the pathway of a bridge and went away for jogging. After a while, their son Kishan Sabar started running when a pickup van coming from Dharambandha hit him killing him on the spot.

On receiving information, Dharambandha  police including IIC Dillip Larka reached the spot and sent the body post-mortem.

Sources said  the family hails from Beltukri in the district but they were residing in Dharambandha as the Jawan’s wife works as a teacher at Chulabhat school. A pal of gloom descended on the village after news of the toddler’s death surfaced.
