ITI Principal caught taking bribe in Odisha

Nuapada: Principal Bibhuti Bhusan Sahu of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Khariar Road in Nuapada district  was caught red-handed by Vigilance officials while he was accepting  bribe of Rs 30,000 today.

Sources said the Principal had demanded the bribe from complainant Bhupendra Mahananda, a native of  Golamunda police station area in Kalahandi district. He was working as a PTGI (Mechanical Mother Vehicle) at the ITI.  The Principal demanded the bribe from the complainant to recommend his name to the concerned committee for renewal of his job for one year by Nuapada Collector.

Following a complaint,  a trap was laid by officials of Vigilance Koraput Division and the Principal was caught red-handed while he was accepting the bribe  in his office chamber.
