ITIs, Diploma colleges in Odisha to reopen soon

Bhubaneswar: After Class 10th and 12th, Odisha Government is mulling over reopening of ITIs and Diploma colleges in the State.

“The decision on reopening of ITIs and Diploma colleges for final semester students will be taken in a day or two,” informed Skill Development & Technical Education Minister Premananda Nayak today.

The ITIs and Diploma colleges are closed since the lockdown imposed across the State on May 5 due to upsurge in COVID-19 during second wave of pandemic.

Recently, the State Government had decided to reopen the schools for Class 10th and 12th students.

The physical classes of Class 10 and 12th students resumed today with strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines in schools.
