The central investigating agency has kept 15 out of a total of 90 persons it has interrogated till its seventh phase probe in the suspect list.

These 15 suspects include some political leaders, businessmen and teachers.

While CBI DIG Lata Manoj Kumar and a four-member scientific team on Thursday had gone to Tikiri for an on-the-spot investigation, a three-member CBI team, comprising DSP MA Pathak, Inspector RD Sharma and constable DB Mitrawala on Friday compared the statements of the dismissed IIC of Tikiri Police Station Sujit Kumar Sai and teachers and students of Tikiri Upper Primary School with their earlier statements.

Besides, the team also went through the recordings of the four CDs collected from the local court.

Though the CBI did not interrogate any person on Friday, sources said it would interrogate those who were close to Itishree from today.
