Odisha Vigilance today raided the residence of Nagendra Kumar Sahu, a senior assistant of Jajpur based Urban Co-operative bank, in connections with a disproportionate assets case.

Cuttack division of the vigilance continued the raid at Sahu’s three storeyed house at Olei Chandanpur under Binjharpur police limits in Jajpur district till last reports came in the afternoon.

So far, property and cash worth Rs 1.4 crore have been unearthed, said a source in the Vigilance familiar with the raid.

Cash worth Rs 39 lakh, a fuel tanker worth Rs 14 lakh, fixed deposits worth Rs 10 lakh, LIC bonds worth Rs 9 lakh, a fuel station and a three-storeyed building worth Rs 60 lakh have been unearthed so far.
