Janmejaya retains Daka Shree title

Odisha’s star bodybuilder Janmejaya Mohanty won the Daka Shree title for the third time in a row in the All India Postal Sports Competition at Ranchi on Friday.

He won the individual gold in the 80 kg weight category.

Mohanty had won his first title at Hyderabad in 2011 and the second at Chennai in 2012.

Another bodybuilder from Odisha Ajaya Mohapata won silver in the 90 kg category.

In the weightlifting event, Biswajit Pratihari and Nursingha Sethi won gold medals in their weight categories.
