Japan, Germany, Norway to make partnership for Make In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The countries like Japan, Germany and Norway have agreed to make partnership for Make In Odisha. And more nations will come to invest in Odisha, informed Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary of Department of Industries.

The third edition of Make in Odisha Conclave-2022 is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from November 30 to December 4. The event was held by the Odisha government in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

Informing more about the event, the state industry secretary said that the registration to take part in Make in Odisha Conclave has commenced from today.

As per the schedule, the Business leader talk will be held on December 1 afternoon followed by plenary session in the morning. The dignitaries will discuss how the state can grow in the sectors like petrochemicals, chemicals, metrology, metallurgy, skill development, fertilizers, food processing and agriculture. Various departments of Odisha Government will release new policy for development of respective industries.

The event will witness footfall of about 20,000 to 25,000. The highest priority will be given to industries that create more employment. Emphasis will be given to setting up industries using the raw materials available in the state, the official said.

Yesterday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched the website and app for Make in Odisha Conclave-2022. He asked various departments to work in close collaboration for success of the business summit.
