Japan: To mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, a Japanese woman dance teacher of Vivekananda Cultural Centre (VCC) located on the premises of the Embassy of India in Tokyo performed an Odissi dance item.
Congratulating Odisha on the occasion, the danseuse, Kazuko Yasunobu, staged Sakura Vasant Pallavi with a reflection of the Konark temple in the background.
A four minutes and 46 -seconds video of the performance, a collaboration of the VCC and Indian Embassy in Japan, was shared on the official Twitter handle of the Embassy.
