JE among three killed in road mishaps in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Road accidents at two separate places in Odisha claimed lives of at least three persons, including a Junior Engineer (JE), today.

A car in which Kankadahad block JE S Naveen Kumar (50) was travelling with his wife S Prashanti (42) hit a truck near Guneibili under Tumusingha police limits in Dhenkanal district, killing him on the spot and injuring the woman critically. The victim has been admitted to Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

In a similar incident, an elderly woman and her grandson died after an SUV hit a truck on NH-16 at Sunakhala in Khordha district. The deceased were returning Bhubaneswar from Bissamcuttack in Rayagada district in the SUV when the accident took place.
