JE caught red-handed taking bribe in Odisha

Khordha: An engineer was caught red-handed by Odisha Vigilance today while taking bribe from a contractor in Khordha.

The accused was identified as Durga Prasad Dalai, the Junior Engineer (JE) of Banapur block in Khordha district.

The official was apprehended by Khordha squad under Bhubaneswar division of the anti-corruption department while he was accepting a bribe amount of Rs 20,000 from a contractor to clear a bill.
