JE in Odisha Vigilance net as 60 plots traced by officials

Deogarh: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiples places in connection with allegation against Bikash Kumar Behera, Junior Engineer (GPTA), Tileibani Block, Deogarh district, regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

During the raids, as many as 60 plots, a four-wheeler, Rs 1 lakh in cash and a double-storeyed building at Balam in the district were unearthed by the Vigilance officers.

Simultaneous house searches were conducted by the Odisha Vigilance at three places in Deogarh district.

Three teams, comprising 4 DSPs, 2 Inspectors and other staff, carried out the raids on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Court of Special Judge,Vigilance, Sambalpur.

Till last reports came in, raids were underway and calculation of total value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
