JE under Odisha Vigilance scanner over DA allegation

Angul: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiples places in connection with allegation against Basant Kumar Bastia, Junior Engineer, Rural Works Section, Boinda, Angul regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Sleuths of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous searches at 4 places– residential double storied building of Bastia at Sithala village under Niali police limits in Cuttack district, four storied building of Bastia at Sithala, a house of his relative at Sithala, and his office room and official residence at Badahulla Boinda village in Angul district.

Till last reports came in, the raids were underway and calculation of total value of his movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
