JEE aspirants can fill online form from Dec-1

Students seeking admission to engineering courses through  JEE can fill up their forms online from December 1. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a notification for conducting Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) – 2016.

The candidates can fill up the forms online by going to the official site JEE- www.jeemain.nic.in from December 1, the last date for online filling up of forms is December 31.

The test for JEE Main will be held offline on April 3 where as the online test for the entrance examination will be conducted on April 9 and 10, according to the CBSE notification.

The who will qualify the JEE Main entrance exam can get admission into NITs, and various government and private engineering colleges.

While, students aspiring for IITs need to clear JEE Advance examination which will be  conducted  after the results of JEE Mains are out.

“The CBSE has issued a notification for JEE Main-2016 on its website- www.jeemain.nic.in . Like previous years, this year candidate will be also selected on the basis of 40 per cent career mark and 60 per cent entrance mark,” said Tushar Kumar Nath, OJEE chairman.

Nath added that the Odisha government will issue an notification on this regard soon on its participation in JEE Main this year. However, students will be admitted through the all-India entrance test for admission to engineering courses this year also like the previous two years.
