JEE Main 2020 Results: Sourabh Soumyakanta Das topper from Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Sourabh Soumyakanta Das emerged topper from Odisha in the JEE Main Examination 2020, the results of which were declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) yesterday on online mode.

Das scored 99.9924070 percentile in the state-wise category rank in the test.

The JEE Main 2020 was held from January 6 to 9 online at various centres across the country.

According to reports, nine candidates scored perfect 100 in the examination for admission into B.E./B.Tech. The results were released at jeemain.nic.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in.

While Landa Jitendra and Thadavarthi Vishnu Sri Sai Sankar from Andhra Pradesh scored 100% in the examination, Nishant Agarwal from Delhi found place in top 9 All-India rank list.

More than 11 lakh candidates had registered for the JEE Main Examination 2020 which is also a screening test for IIT entrance examination (also known as JEE Advanced).

JEE Main results of BArch and BPlanning will be announced later. The next online application for April session of JEE Main 2020 examination will start from February 7 to March 7, 2020. The examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode between April 5, 2020 and April 11, 2020. The result will be announced on April 30, 2020

The JEE Main counselling process for admission into NITs, IIITs, CFTIs will be conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority. The counselling will be held online only for seven rounds including two mock seat allotments. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of the marks secured in JEE Main 2020. The candidates will be eligible for JoSAA counselling who will complete the JoSAA 2020 registration and other counselling processes.
